With a huge range of knowledge about metallurgical processes, Ray is an authority on aluminium direct chill casting of both rolling ingot and extrusion billets. He has developed new processes and methods that have saved companies hundreds of thousands of pounds while remaining approachable and genuinely keen to solve any problem, no matter how large.
